In the heart of the Murgia Pugliese, today you will try your hand at the cheesemaker’s laboratory to discover how milk is transformed into cheese. In a Masseria a few kilometers from Altamura, you will start the day with a tour of the Masseria to discover its history. The cheesemaker will tell you and explain the cheese-making art and you will continue with the test: you will try to make the mozzarella itself which you will then taste.
To follow the experience, you will taste typical products such as: bread and tomato and bread with honey, strong ricotta crostini, olives, cheeses and various jams, sausage and soppressata to finish with ricotta pastiera.
