You will get closer to the ancient Apulian farms with a cooking workshop experience in a Manduria.

The Masseria in question enjoys a single plot, near the Ionian Sea, guarded and protected by dry stone walls that delimit the different plots, where ancient clones of primitive were planted, each with different peculiarities.
You will find very dark and clayey soils alternating with more marly and slightly silty areas. The soils are deep and soft and very rich in organic substance. To avoid excessive vigor of the plants, grass is sown to oxygenate the roots of the Masseria’s vineyards and create healthy competition.
Today our chefs will lead you to collect spices and products to use in the kitchen directly from the organic garden. Through the tasting of orecchiette, focaccia, taralli, traditional desserts you will rediscover the taste of daily life in Apulia. The lesson will be enriched by anecdotes related to tradition and local history. At the end, the participants will taste what has been prepared, accompanying it with a few glasses of organic wine from our production.
